The product VideoID 2.0, developed by Electronic IDentification has been granted the ISO/IEC 25000 certificate for Functional Suitability.

Functional Suitability certificate eID

The certificate has been issued by AENOR taking the evaluation carried out by the accredited laboratory AQCLab as a basis.

VideoId 2.0 is a service that combines video streaming and an artificial intelligence algorithm to give technical security to the process of telematic identification and registration, performing checks in real time that allow instant conclusions about the authenticity of identity documents as well as their relationship to the person being identified.

The VideoID service consists of:

  • A video identification module, which is responsible for scanning the identity document and the user's face, performing real-time validations (document security measures, ambient lighting, bandwidth, image quality, etc.), extracting data from the identity document and performing biometric comparison between the user's image and the photograph on the identity document.
  • A verification module of the registration authority, which allows the validation by a qualified human agent of the identifications made, following a protocol of security questions to finalize the tests and conclude with an effective identification or rejection.

With the Functional Suitability certificate for its product VideoID 2.0, Electronic IDentification can assure their customers that their product complies fully and correctly with the functional requirements described for the product, thus obtaining an improvement in confidence and customer satisfaction.

The issuance of this new certificate for Functional Adaptation is a further step in consolidating the interest in the certification of software product quality certification conforming to ISO/IEC 25000.
