Ministero dello sviluppo economico (MISE) has become the first Italian entity to obtain a Functional Suitability certificate in compliance with ISO/IEC 25000 for their software product eGLU-box PA. The research and development of this product has been led by the QoS Lab of the Istituto Superiore delle Comunicazioni e delle Tecnologie dell'Informazione (ISCOM), which operates within the MISE as a scientific-technical body.
The certificate has been issued by AENOR taking the evaluation carried out by the accredited laboratory AQCLab as a basis
eGLU-box PA is a web platform that allows to carry out simplified remote usability tests following the eGLU LG protocol. This tool is used by the QoS Lab for the provision of its usability evaluation service, whereby a set of users are monitored while performing the usability tests established for the product under test.
With the certification of the Functional Adequacy of eGLU-box PA, MISE can assure their clients that this platform used in the usability evaluation services provided by ISCOM's QoS Lab completely and correctly complies with the functional requirements described for it, thus improving the confidence and satisfaction of its clients.
