The product eCOMITIA, version 2.0, from ARES S. COOP., has been granted the ISO/IEC 25000 certificate for Functional Suitability. The certificate has been issued by AENOR taking the evaluation carried out by the accredited laboratory AQCLab as a basis.
eCOMITIA election manager is an online voting platform that allows managing election processes, consultations and surveys in different languages with all the technological guarantees of security and confidentiality It is aimed at all types of associations, industries, cooperatives, political parties, professional associations, neighborhood communities, local governments, unions, education, corporations, etc. eCOMITIA has the following characteristics:
- Verification of the validity of the ID of the voters, confirming that they belong to the corresponding census and that they have not already exercised the vote for that voting process.
- Identification by means of an electronic signature or with a code sent by SMS.
- Support for in-person voting, avoiding double voting.
- Guarantee of the confidentiality of the vote cast, by encoding the vote in a digital ballot box. A certificate is generated with the vote coded and signed with an Entity Seal and a Time Seal issued by the FNMT.
- Audit of the vote, to guarantee that the vote has not been manipulated or substituted.
- Validation of the characteristics of each vote (languages, validation methods, census, auditors, auditors, etc.) by a Validation Committee.
- Offered as a cloud service, ready for use from any device with an internet connection.
- Scrutinies are housed in a secure data processing center, so elections benefit from a completely independent data processing center.
